The National Socialist stand on Christianity

At the Scriptorium. Not an Early American stance to be sure, but not at all the antagonistic one that Hollywood has led us to believe. From the article:

No form of Godlessness or blasphemy is tolerated and the churches as well as their religious affairs are secure, undisturbed, and free of problems in a way that is unprecedented in history and almost unknown in any other country on earth.

Not that I am for National Socialism, and I'm sure that there is more than a little party platform promotion going on here. But I do find it interesting to see facts about history that are in such contrast to what the Marxists in Hollywood, academia, and the government have always told us.

Get out of debt

The U.S. should do what Andrew Jackson did, what Germany tried to do, and what Russia did : break free from the death grip of the money-changers and regain our sovereignty. Ever-growing debt is not a solution to our problems but one of the primary causes of them.

Bernanke: No quick recovery

Fed chairman says policymakers now have 'tools' to fix financial crisis but that economy will take time to rebound.

Bernanke warned that even with all the moves made by the Fed and Treasury, "credit markets will take some time to unfreeze." He also said the housing crisis will continue to be a drag on the economy but he also said that "the problem was much broader than subprime lending."

In other words, "The surge is working." Bernake also said, "Woob, woob, woob, woob!"

Two party tyranny

The Chairman of the Constitution Party reports:

... After over a decade of neglect that I have personally witnessed, it is clear that neither state or local officials want to do anything about the problem.

You may also want to mention [in your letter] that the Elections Division “lost” the timely filing for Chuck Baldwin and would have excluded him from the ballot if we did not have proof they received the filing. On the other hand, they accepted the filing of McCain and Obama even though they did not file by the deadline. Bob Barr brought suit to keep them off the ballot in Texas but biased Texas judges allowed them to remain on the ballot.

You get the picture – when the major parties violate the law, it’s no big deal. When challengers to their power fail to comply with even the smallest detail of the law, they are in violation. Such a double standard is unacceptable in a just and lawful society.

Success and its poisonous flower of democracy

Paradoxically to most people, it is the struggle and the individual's attitude to it that maintain freedom and build success. It is the worship of that same success and love of safety that bring about rot and failure. Standards are relaxed; systems grow of their own volition; the foreign, the incompetent, and the insane are allowed to immigrate, integrate, vote, and to rule; The Mob subsequently takes over, bringing about collapse.

Tim Case, in Preamble to Social Mayhem, sees the Destructor (my term) as the State and all its opera which kills initiative and freedom:

Certainly no serious student of history would dare ignore any of these lines of reasoning in studying the fall of the Roman Empire. However, there is one further item that is rarely addressed but which should be of equal importance to understanding why great empires, like Rome, ultimately fail.

Whether we are talking about an autocracy, oligarchy, or democracy we are in the final analysis dealing with a coercive force which will become violent to attain its ends. As the state increases its power base and the demands upon its citizens, it will seek to have a domineering effect upon the human spirit. The result is the destruction of self-reliance, self-determination and self-confidence of free citizens and replacing them with a dutiful, subservient drone totally reliant on the state.

The pressure the state exerts on it subjects was not lost on Tacitus who bemoaned the servile mood of the Roman Senate under Tiberius in contrast to the character of the Senate during the building of the Empire. Even Tiberius is reported to have said in disgust of the Roman senators: "O men, ready for slavery!"

Three of the great writers of antiquity – Livy, Pliny the elder, and Tacitus – all recognized that the Roman society was becoming enslaved. Livy felt it was because of the wealth and Pliny concurred that the lack of intellectual interests was the result of the worship of wealth.

Tacitus, however, stated that "genius died by the same blow that ended public liberty" laying the blame directly at the feet of the rising tyranny of the Roman state.

However, it is the unknown philosopher of Longinus’ On The Sublime who pinpoints the cause when he says:

... we of to-day seem to have learnt in our childhood the lessons of a benignant despotism, to have been cradled in her habits and customs from the time when our minds were still tender, and never to have tasted the fairest and most fruitful fountain of eloquence, I mean liberty. Hence we develop nothing but a fine genius for flattery. [Lewis Lapham wrote some excellent commentary and advice about this. -- r.m.] This is the reason why, though all other faculties are consistent with the servile condition, no slave ever became an orator; because in him there is a dumb spirit which will not be kept down: his soul is chained: he is like one who has learnt to be ever expecting a blow. For, as Homer says – ‘the day of slavery takes half our manly worth away.’

In Catiline's War Gaius Sallustius Crispus opens his dissertation with this statement:

Every man who is anxious to surpass the lower animals should strive with all his power not to pass his life in obscurity like the brute beasts, which nature has made the groveling slaves of their bellies. Now our whole ability resides jointly in our mind and body. In the case of the mind it is its power of guidance, in the case of the body its obedient service that we rather use, sharing the former faculty with the gods, the latter with the brute creation.

We may say then, without too much contradiction, that the real war between a free people and the state resides over who will control the mind: the individual or the state.

If it is the individual, society will continue to grow and flourish, while if the state wins control, the society rapidly decays, allowing the points often citied for the fall of the Roman Empire to occur.

Alexis de Tocqueville, in Democracy in America, describes the bureaucratic creep that brings Case's Destructor State which kills initiative and freedom:

Above this race of men stands an immense and tutelary power, which takes upon itself alone to secure their gratifications, and to watch over their fate. That power is absolute, minute, regular, provident, and mild. It would be like the authority of a parent, if, like that authority, its object was to prepare men for manhood; but it seeks, on the contrary, to keep them in perpetual childhood: It is well content that the people should rejoice, provided they think of nothing but rejoicing.

In Schism and Conscience: Solzhenitsyn’s First Circle and Cancer Ward, Matthew Raphael Johnson writes:

The Enlightenment is based on the interconnection of all external stimuli (since they are all reducible to atoms and their vibrations), hence, totalitarianism is a practical and scientific necessity. If force applied in one direction will eventually affect all elements, then everything is connected. This is graphically shown in the beginning of the novel when the vibrations of Volodin’s voice create a chain reaction of activation of the NKVD’s entire apparatus in an inorganic dystopic anti-nature. All is motion, all is cause and effect, hence all is connected, hence there is no autonomous element of life. BNP Updates Language & Concepts Discipline Manual

A model for real Americans. This is what our leaders should be doing. From the Chelmsford Anglican Mainstream:

Politics requires propaganda, and effective propaganda requires self-discipline. It is essential that all official (and preferably unofficial, i.e. public comments by party members) BNP communications stick to the party’s true message and convey it to the voting public in a clear and consistent way.

The enemy wants us to be misunderstood — this is why they deliberately lie to the public about what we stand for — so we must do everything possible to make it impossible for the public to misunderstand us.

Therefore, BNP Policy Research has compiled the following rules of language and concepts discipline:

Rule #1: The BNP is not a ‘racist’ or ‘racial’ party. It should never be referred to as such by BNP activists, and anyone else who does so must be politely but firmly corrected. The precisely correct description of what we are, in the standard terminology of international comparative politics, is a ‘patriotic’ or ‘ethno-nationalist’ party. That is, we espouse, like many political parties all over the world, the interests of the particular ethnic groups to which we belong. If you are accused of being a ‘racist’ then do not try and get into a definition of what is meant by that. The answer is simply “no, the BNP is not racist” and that is all. Do not fall into the media trap of trying to debate what racism is — as soon as you hedge the question, you are giving them an opportunity to exploit. See the 2008 booklet Folk and Nation: Underpinning the Ethnostate for more details.

Rule #2: Do not hesitate to repudiate bad aspects of the BNP’s past. Point out that all parties have some people who have said and done silly things. The important issue upon which to focus is what is being said and done now. People can and do change, and this has happened to the BNP as well. There is no comparison between the BNP of ten or fifteen years ago, in the same way that there is no comparison between the Labour or Conservative Parties of now and twenty years ago. All parties evolve, mature, and change, and we do not have to be on the defensive for things said and done twenty years ago which have no relevance to the modern BNP.

Rule #3: The BNP’s core principle is one of Britain and British people first, and we do not hesitate to announce this from all public platforms. This is not an extreme position — in fact it is one which any normal country would have. If you are questioned on this, and there might be some people mad enough to call it into question, point out that the Japanese government always acts in the interests of the people of Japan etc., and that almost all nations in the world act in the interests of their own people first. This does not mean that the Japanese “hate” anybody else, merely that they have the good sense to put their own interests first. In this way, the BNP makes no secret of the fact that it seeks to put British people and British interests first, and this includes putting measures in place to ensure that the majority population of this nation remains ethnically British. This is not a policy to hide — on the contrary, it is one to discuss openly, as it differentiates the BNP from all the other political parties who seek the exact opposite.

Rule #4: The BNP campaigns in a totally lawful manner. Our experience has shown time and time again that agent provocateurs who suggest nonparliamentary means of political activity are most often extreme left infiltrators who seek to create situations wherein the media can portray the BNP in a bad light. Any member hearing any such language or suggestions must immediately report it to their party senior who must then pass the information upwards, never outwards, so that it can be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Rule #5: Always remember that the BNP’s policies are basic common sense, and mainstream. Repeated opinion polls show that on our core issues, the majority of the public agree with us and the extremists are the establishment politicians. Do not let interviewers or opponents get away with using the words ‘extreme’ or ‘far right’ or such terms. Challenge such statements immediately by asking what is so ‘extreme’ about any of them. The interviewer or opponent will quickly be put on the spot to justify his position, and will be hard-pressed to show that a policy (such as) “Britain for the British” is extreme. (You can point out that everyone agrees Tibet should be for the Tibetans, and that is not regarded as ‘extreme’.)

Rule #6: The BNP is not ‘anti-European’. We are ‘anti-EU’ or ‘anti-European Union’ or ‘anti-Brussels’. Do not criticise Europe per se — only the institution of the EU, which is a liberal/fascist monstrosity designed to destroy national borders, identities and cultures, and which poses the greatest threat to the continued existence of individual nations since the end of the Communist empire.

Rule#7: The BNP is not ‘anti-Polish’ or ‘anti-Eastern European’. The Eastern European nations have the right to protect their own workforce — in exactly the same way that Britain does. If you are in a discussion about Polish or Eastern European workers, do not end an argument by saying “how terrible it all is” but point out that Poles would object if a million British, or a million Vietnamese descended on Poland and took away jobs from Polish people by working for less than the living wage in that country. There is nothing wrong with such a policy position, and all intelligent people will understand this — Poles and other Eastern Europeans included. Finally, point out that it is the EU “Freedom of Movement” rules, introduced by the Tories, which are ultimately responsible for recent demographic changes, and not the people themselves.

Rule #8: When addressing a specific audience, arguments for our policies should always be couched in language calculated to be relevant to their interests. Do not bore a workingmen’s audience with those parts of our ideology that derive from old-school Toryism, or puzzle an affluent suburban audience with an explanation of worker ownership of industry.

Rule #9: Racial and ethnic epithets and insults should never be used. Leave the crude ethnic jokes about Chinese cockle pickers to the Tories and others. The BNP is under special media scrutiny for any such language, and it is strictly forbidden, no matter how light-hearted it may be.

Rule #10: A political party cannot succeed, or even attract new members, if it takes as its premise the hopelessness of its cause. Therefore, BNP activists and writers must, though they should strongly condemn the rotten character of the present British regime and the society it has produced, never speak of the situation in Britain as hopeless or of British society as corrupt to the point of worthlessness. They must always remember that politics, at the end of the day, is an act of will, and our creative vision of what Britain ought to be must always be alive in our hearts and projected with confidence to the public.

Rule #11: Explanations of our ideology should be couched, whenever possible, in terms of specifically British history and the specific national identity of Britain. For example, when discussing rights, we should speak of ‘our traditional rights’ or ‘the rights of Englishmen’, not about universal human rights, which is a very different concept.

Rule #12: Successful revolutions from the right have always presented themselves as restoring older traditions. Therefore, we should couch our agenda in restorationist terms whenever possible. Ours is a populist traditionalism, not an elitist one.

Rule #13: The BNP defines British people in both civic and ethnic terms. Immigrants, and descendants of immigrants who have settled here from non-European countries, are British in the fullest civic sense of the word, and entitled to the rights of all British subjects. This includes all rights and duties (such as full protection under the law) and all other aspects of participatory society, such as national sports teams, military service, civic associations and the like.

The BNP also defines British people in an ethnic sense, in that we are the descendants of the traditional peoples of England, Scotland, Wales and the island of Ireland. In the same way, an English person might be born in China of English parents and might have a Chinese passport, but would never be ethnically described as Chinese.

This ethnic understanding of Britishness does not impinge upon the civic rights of British passport holders. It is merely an expression of the rights of an indigenous people to be recognised as such, and to have the right to remain as the majority population in their own nation.

This right is accepted as normal by almost every other nation on earth, who also define their indigenous populations ethnically. Pakistan, for example, has a law of return which guarantees children of Pakistani immigrants the right to a Pakistani passport, no matter where in the world they may have been born.

The house that "conservatives" built

We have the RedTeam to thank for this new KGB-type monstrosity. When their fearless leader, G.W. Bush, and his Jews were whipping up the ridiculous "war on terror" frenzy in the media and in D.C., it was us "Ron Paul Constitutional Kooks," as Sean Hannity put it, whom they spit on and called traitors. I wonder what these RedTeam patriotards think now, as they discover that they are the terrorists the politicians had in mind all along.

George Washington warned us in his farewell speech about succumbing to party politics. This is a good example of why. The RedTeam gave powers to the Executive that they would never have dreamed of giving up had the BlueTeam been in power. And now it seems too late to take them back.

Winnie The Pooh in Latin

I came across this description tonight at Amazon while surfing for Latin:

This is because in order to ensure a faithful translation the translator must use every form of Latin he can, even the idiomatic and complicated.

My advice for the novice is to stick to the simple stuff and take it in order. Latin is very difficult; do it right, take your time. I recommend a beginner's course such as Karen Moh's Latin's Not So Tough, Ben L. D'Ooge's Latin for Beginners, then Latin composition, and then easy Latin readers.

Tom Tancredo and the bobos

Gratias ago to Tom for writing this article, wherein he complains about the SPLC and their smear tactics. However, after explaining what a bunch of scum the organization is and giving a few examples of how they lie like their father, he writes the following:

Why a group that aligns itself with terrorists, but opposes The Lord of the Rings is taken seriously by anyone is beyond me.

Really? Is that possible? Can one be at Tom's level and not know which tribe runs the SPLC, the media, academia, and the District of Criminals, especially the NKVD/KGB/Dept of Homeland Security?  I seriously doubt it.  I believe he does know but also knows what will happen to him if he boldly proclaims the truth and is protecting himself accordingly.

There is a simple rule: To quickly discover who is in charge, ask whom you are not allowed to criticize. A corollary:  If you are not allowed to critize anyone, you know right away who is the slave.

What I believe Tom doesn't see is that absolutely none of our current leadership will acknowledge what is becoming more obvious to ever more regular folk, which is that Europeans have been almost completely displaced in positions of power in their own countries and are fast becoming -- thanks to the bobos -- a powerless minority at every other level of government and society. 

In other words, Western countries have been almost completely taken over by a hostile enemy tribe and our leaders are afraid to even acknowledge the fact.  Euros are without any leadership whatever, unable to fight back or even express their frustration.  They are being rapidly dispossed of their legal rights, their social status, their wealth, their health, and ability to make a living and support and protect their families.  Judging by gold, silver, gun, ammunition, survival gear sales, and the recent tea party protests, they're becoming a little pipped.

And yet the bobos just keep pushing.  They propose ever more domestic government spying, wars for Israel, more Marxism/multiculturalism/Globocapitalism, endless taxation, and are still working to officially outlaw what free speech remains.  What outcome do these power-mad, self-chosenites expect?  Has not their Holyhoax myth taught them anything?

Alex Jones vs. Peter Schiff

talk about our current financial mess, back in October. This interview provides a clear illustration of their different interpretations for the why of it. Alex Jones thinks it is all purely engineered but Peter Schiff thinks it is due purely to gross incompetence.

Although they seem to be saying very similar things to us, the difference is to Jones extremely large and, judging by his agitation and his numerous walkovers of Schiff's commentary, very important.

So, who is right? Because evil and ignorance are so closely related and because our leaders are so full of both, I think Schiff and Jones are both right, each in their own way.

Rebels against American Christmas

Fred Reed, noted ex-American curmudgeon, is sick of the saccharrine-sweet emptiness:
